Rabi’u Tukur (PhD)

Rabi’u Tukur is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Resources Management Federal University Dutsin-ma. He had PhD and MSc on Land Resources Development and BSc Geography in 2021, 2011 and 2002 respectively from Bayero University Kano (BUK) Nigeria. He is a professional teacher with Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) qualification obtained in 2005 from Usman Danfodiyo University Sokoto. He specializes on Vegetation resources dynamics and Environmental resources management and planning in the semi arid northern Nigeria. A member of Association of Nigerian Geographers (ANG) and Nigerian Environmental Society (NES)

 

He taught both undergraduate and postgraduate course few among the postgraduate courses include, Biodiversity and conservation, Advanced biogeography, Dryland environment, Environmental contamination and remediation, Environmental laws and policies, while the undergraduate courses include, Agricultural geography, Introduction to climate and biogeography, Biogeography, Vegetation Management, Systematic geography of Nigeria, Regional Geography of West Africa and Regional Geography of Africa.
